Hoover Talent Show

On Friday May 13 at 7:00, we drove down to the Hoover School to go to the 1st Annual Hoover Talent Show! We got there early so I could warm up and find my seat. There were 10 or 12 acts before my turn. I had been playing a Ragtime piece called The St. Louis Rag by Turpin. There were a lot of mistakes, partly because of the piano and the chatter. I had a great time overall!

Oliver

While Uncle Matt and Aunt Beth were visiting, we also really liked Oliver. Levi was happy playing cars and trucks. (which is Oliver's favorite thing in the world.) Soon Lina was ready to read Oliver a stack of books. Oliver also had a great time with his cousins and uncle doing different things.

Happy Mothers Day!!

We had a great mothers day with Uncle Matt, Aunt Beth, and Oliver visiting. While we watched the race, Uncle Matt took some pictures.

Uncle Matt played with his settings and made this funny picture.

Lina finished with a time of 30:24, an 8:42 pace! Good job Lina!

Early to Mid May in Boston

Last weekend I took the camera with me up into the woods to take some pictures. There are a lot of maple trees in our woods, but we have some oaks also. Today, things are much greener and prettier than last week, but this should still be pretty too!

Art Show

Back in April we went to the Melrose middle school to go to the art show. We were looking for two things: Adelina's texture fish and my self portirate. We went to the art show one afternoon after school. When we got there, we started looking for my self portirate. We found it. It doesn't look anything like me. Then we found Lina's. She did a pretty good job. We also enjoyed looking at other peoples works.
