80 Degrees!
Last Friday was the first 80 degree day since September! It was earth day also, so we picked up trash and went for a hike. Then we went to get ice cream. The next day it returned to a seasonable 65 degrees, but we enjoyed having while it lasted.

Hoover Science Fair
I'm a little late about blogging on this, but a few weeks ago we had the Hoover Science Fair. My project was on growing crystals. My science fair was on April 6 and Adelina's was on April 8. I was interested in some of the other science projects.
Here you can take a peek on my posteriorsI won first place for 3rd grade, so I got this reward.
Now here is Adelina's:
She won first place too!
Marathon Monday
This Monday was the 120th annual Boston Marathon! We got up in the morning and got our stuff ready to go to the marathon! Temps were not as warm as 2012, but not as bad as 2015, with temps in the high 60s/low 70s. When we got there, the wheelchairs were beginning to come along and our usually marathon friends came shortly after. Then the runners came by. They were REALLY FAST!! My dad was tracking a woman named Deirdre who was one of his coworkers. Everyone did a great job with their running on marathon Monday!!

Calebina
A few weeks ago, I talked to the owner of La Q Chara, Lorenzo, to make a new thing on the menu. We came up with a cocoa chia pudding with strawberries, banana, coconut, roasted cashews and almonds with Nutella. We went there one Saturday and got the pudding for lunch. It was so good! I hope I can have it again another time!
Chicks!!
Mom and Dad had promised to us that we would get chickens in April so on Sunday, we went up to the "Essex County Coop" to get some information about chickens. But in the end we came home with 6 chicks that we could watch grow into chickens. We got 2 kinds of chicks:
1. Austrolorpus (Black Head)
2. Barred Rocks (White Head)
We wanted to start playing with them soon:

Run4KidsMA
Yesterday we got up, ate breakfast, and hit the road to go to Orange, MA. We were going to a running event called Run4KidsMA. It was an HMC event where you run, and how many miles you do, it goes to your HMC total. IT was a pretty nice day, with temps in the high 50s/low 60s and sunny. Every time you ran a lap you got a bead to put on a bracelet. You could run as far as you wanted between 10 and 3. I started running with Adelina for the first 2 miles (8 laps) followed by a fast 6 miles (24 laps) by myself. Then I jogged the rest of the way with food and water brakes. I finished up with 15 miles (60 laps) in all. Here is how far everyone ran:
Levi: 6 miles (24 laps)
Lina: 8 miles (32 laps)
Me: 15 miles (60 laps)
Mom: 5 miles (18 laps)
Dad: 15 miles (60 laps)
Family Total: 62 miles (248 laps)
Now for the pictures:
Here are Adelina and I standing with Kara Lublin, the founder of HMC.
There were some pictures there also:

Spring Snow 2
What a crazy winter it has been for us weatherize! The other day we got some snow (a lot actually) with high temps only in the high 20s/low 30s. Weather stations said that we got about 6 to 7 inches of snow which actually melted in just a couple of days! Hope we have no more snow until winter 2017!
Jeremy Denk Concert
On Saturday April 2, mom and I went down to Boston to go see a man named Jeremy Denk play the piano. We got there and found our seats. I looked at the program. He was going to play Ragtime pieces followed by a Schubert Sonata after the intermission. The ragtime pieces were awesome, (Mom loved one song so much that she could not stop listening to it) and the Schubert Sonata was actually his last sonata because I remember hearing it at another concert. After the concert, we went to go meet him. A Celebrity Series photographer named Robert took pictures. Jeremy Denk even gave me his autograph. What a good night......
