WashPA Trip-Part 2

On Tuesday, we headed up to Pittsburgh to go see the steepest hill ever, eat lunch, and walk around. We started off our day by going to see Canton Ave, the steepest hill ever. It was 47 degrees steep, and very hard to run up. You weren't supposed to drive down it, but my mom and Uncle Matt broke the rules and did so.

Here is our picture.  (Uncle Matt is photo bombing us.)

Afterwards, we went to Permanti's to eat lunch. It was great!
Lina, Levi, and Oliver all had a great time in the fountains after lunch.

 Walking around the city.

Grandpa reading books with all of us.
 Levi and Tess together.
On Wednesday, we went to Mingo Creek to cool down and build dams.

Wednesday afternoon when Oliver was napping, we visited my mom's school and got to play at her old park.
We were very sad to leave Thursday morning but had a great ride home. We stopped at Indian Echo Caverns in Harrisburg, PA. It was very cool.

We stopped in Allentown, PA for the night and drove the rest on Friday.

WashPA Trip-Part 1

O Friday July 15, we got up at 4am and were on the road by 5:45 to go to grammy and grandpa's house. Our first stop was in Danbury, CT (50 miles east of Hartford) at a Starbucks and it was a very long stop. We drove until. On our way, we listened to the audiobook Charlottes web. We had lunch in State College, PA at a Panera. We all ate salads and drank lemonade. We got to grammy and grandpa's house around 4pm. Uncle Dan was already there and Uncle Matt, Aunt Beth, and Oliver soon came. On Saturday morning we went to a church in WashPA that I was preforming at on Sunday. I had never preformed at a church before so I was very excited. Us in our dress up clothes Sunday morning.
On Monday, we took a day trip to Canaan Valley, West Virginia and we saw the Smallest church on earth.
We stopped at an ice cream shop in Thomas, WV called The Purple Fiddle. We ate ice cream and I played their piano.

Our first stop was the waterfall. It was thunder storming and unusually cool (mid 40s) but Uncle Dan said that the thunder was way up in the clouds so my mom got some ponchos, and we went to go see it. It was very cool!

When it had stopped raining and temps went up to about 55, and windchill to about 50, we headed up to Dolly Sods, a mountain. We spread ashes of Great Uncle Dan, and my mom's Mimi and Grandpa. It was very pretty but cold.
